Identity Journeys was founded by Ernesto Menéndez, a 50-year-old multilingual sales and customer engagement professional who has worked across several industries and spent many years helping people understand and select services suited to their individual circumstances. Alongside his professional experience, Ernesto has travelled extensively and explored religion, spirituality, heritage and personal identity throughout his life. His own experiences of spiritual retreats, silence, reflection and meaningful time away helped him rediscover himself and develop a stable, close and united family. This personal experience inspired the name Identity Journeys. Ernesto believes that travel should be more than simply moving from one location to another. The right journey can give someone the silence needed to think, the peace required to recover, the space to reconnect with family or the opportunity to understand their faith, ancestry and personal identity. Identity Journeys welcomes people of every faith and people with no religious affiliation. Some travellers may seek a sacred or ancestral journey.
